Neil Figuracion (Los Angeles)
Part trouble-maker, part problem-solver, Neil Figuracion joined the ranks of Swing DJs sometime in the late 20th century. After closing down swing nights at the Hollywood Athletic Club, and single-handedly killing the Los Angeles swing scene, he took on the reigns as Late Night Lindy DJ at Anaheim's historic club Memories, before the original site was bulldozed. Since then, he's retired from the morally ambiguous world of spinning shiny discs for Jitterbugs, appearing occasionally when he's needed most.
His whereabouts remain unknown to this day, but you can read his blog at http://blog.myspace.com/fad23 and his pop-culture criticism at http://www.brokenfrontier.com. |
